tv...mmm, tv...

there is no option for me to list my favourite tv shows in my profile, so i will take the opportunity now to rank my shows. i love tv.

1. grey's anatomy
this is my favourite right now. mcdreamy is so....dreamy. sigh. i like it when his eyes twinkle when he looks at meredith. the music choices are also extremely befitting and make the drama seem so much better.
2. veronica mars
think CSI meets the o.c. meets gilmore girls. the investigative-ness of CSI (minus all the crime scene investigation, of course) with the drama of the o.c. with the witty banter and pop culture references of gilmore girls. everytime i think about this show, i sing to myself, "veronica mars...i'm watching you...you are my everything" - you will only understand this if you watch the show, especially season one.
3. friday night lights
sooo good! even though it's about football, which i don't like, by the way...although i think it's kind of cute how football players always give each other love pats on the bottom. i digress. on this show, there is the perfect amount of drama (read: lots of drama). AND one of the characters, coach taylor = dylan from grey's anatomy, who got blown up.

honourable mentions:
1. prison break
wentworth miller's brooding is so alluring. they've managed to keep me mostly interested even though they're no longer in prison.
2. lost
i love the hawaiian scenery and makes me want to go back. there are too many questions and not enough answers to make it into my list of favourites.
3. america's next top model
tyra is a little over the top for me, and i did purge myself of reality tv...but i am still fascinated by this show. i don't really have a favourite, but i think melrose will probably win - although eugena seems to be emerging as a dark horse (i'm not racist, it's an expression!)

Prison Break wasn't doing it for me this season; everything seemed so contrived and the writers were desperate to keep the Fox River 8 interacting with one another somehow...

Scofield is a wonderful brooder, T-Bag is deliciously creepy and Sucre is an all-round nice guy, but it's sheer stubbornness that keeps me watching. Until the "fall finale" peaked my interest, we'll see where things go in the new year with Jack Bauer's latest bad day as a lead-in (or follow-up).

heroes - heard it's good but haven't ever seen an epi. i do like the guy who played jess on gilmore girls...maybe i'll tune in after all my tv shows go on holiday hiatus.

you definitely have to do heroes.

i've begun watching america's next top model too - i think it's because of the lack of anything decent on wednesday nights (aside from the dragon's den ... and that's done for now)
