i had two recitals for my students tonight. they all played so well! i'm like a proud momma right now. i normally buy all of my students a flower to congratulate them on a good performance, but i didn't have time to go to the florist before the recital - i was teaching up until 15 minutes before. so instead, i bought my students ring pops. i'm told this is even better than flowers, which is good to know. ooh, and one of my students gave me an orchid. soooo pretty! so...does anyone know how to take care of an orchid?
in conclusion, i just have to express my disdain for justin timerblake as he had to inconveniently choose his concert date to be the same as my recital. how rude! (just kidding dana and erin, hope you guys had fun!)

Basically, I can sum up the concert as such:
Justin Timberlake is now the standard of what my future husband has to be like. He has to be perfectly in tune, be able to dance/sing/play guitar and piano at the same time, dress in Yves Saint Laurent suits, start his sold-out concerts on time, and lastly, have the looks of a complete fox (not the animal).
In short, I am going to be a spinster due to unrealistic expectations.
geez - andrew and owen and anthony and matt don't stand a chance! poor andrew and owen and anthony and matt. if they only knew.
look on the bright side...just throw in a few dozen cats and you can be a cat lady spinster! for good measure, you should wear hair rollers and a ratty housecoat to the grocery store on a regular basis.
