i knew it! she lives! yay.
i wish dylan - so hot - would have played a bigger role in meredith's fight. i guess it makes more sense that denny do it since everyone loves denny (except me, he was only so-so to me) and he had more contact with meredith. and dylan's kind of an ass. kyle chandler seems to play gruff, cranky characters, which is part of his charm. *makes googly eyes at dylan*
the whole afterlife set-up was a bit much. it was good, and made logical sense (rather than having meredith die and come back with no real reason why. of course we knew the writers wouldn't do that to us), but it was like the superfluous suspense from the previous episode. it dragged on a little too long, you know?
so sad at the end when addison realized that derek never loved her like he loves meredith. and addison is SO sleeping with alex in a future episode. but i really hope she doesn't. i hope her and mcsteamy work out - at least her broken marriage wouldn't be for nothing.
cristina's development was interesting. and her trip to the dollar store was hilarious! it is amazing what you can buy for a dollar. for those who care, i think dollarama is the best dollar store of them all. i'm glad cristina was there for meredith at the end, although i did find her man voice "TRY. AGAIN." was inappropriately funny.
i really liked the closure with mer's mother. now meredith can move on. richard can move on. we can all move on!

so they replayed last week's episode before last night's episode so i got to stay caught up. that was good - but it did seem rather long (especially with the two episodes in tandem). i must say i did shed the (more than) occasional tear. and i'm really like addison more and more. she really needs a hug, man!
p.s. i watched (part of) under the tuscan sun last weekend (we had some dvd troubles) and addison and cristina are in it - as a couple! (coincidentally, addison is a doctor in the movie too ..)
MAN VOICE! bwa ha ha ha ha!
you're so right.
