pretty and prettier. sigh. derek is definitely prettier. i like that we're getting away from the mcdreamy and mcsteamy - as cute as that is, it's getting a little old. thanks to that comment, hahn is growing on me. she's spunky and fierce and stands up for herself. it makes perfect sense that she joined a bunch of other spunky and fierce and self-defending women. she also looks nicer than last season with her flowing blonde hair.
mer and der's tender moment in the on-call room was nice. and definitely not the behaviour of two people who are friends with benefits. which gives me hope. yay!
lexie and alex. maybe i've been doing too many word jumbles, but when i just typed their names, i realized how similar they are. alexie? ha! just like how i know a couple named paul and pauline. i wonder if that was done purposely. probably not because that's silly. at first when i saw the final scene, i thought lexie was really callous and cold, going to meredith's dead mother's house with a potential one night stand. then i realized that of course she wouldn't know that alex lived with meredith because that would mean they talked, and alex made it clear that's not what he was looking for. and how was lexie able to spend the ENTIRE day with alex? wasn't cristina looking for her? since when did interns disappear for a minute, never mind a day, without their resident looking for them?
one last thing. i detest blubbering izzie. i didn't like it when she was begging denny to let her kill him, and i didn't like it tonight. it's just too much.
