happy earth day

starbucks let me down by raising their prices shortly after tim hortons' did. but now if you own a starbucks card and register it, then you are entitled to:

>free syrup and/or milk options (i'm not sure what the milk options entail but it sounds impressive)
>a free tall beverage when you buy whole beans
>best of all...free refills!

this makes me happy.

i've jumped back on my travel mug wagon - i fell off for a while there - so my coffee still ends up being the same price as before. AND the past few times, i've paid for a medium coffee and received a large in return since the barista has just filled up my travel mug. because today is earth day, i got a free coffee since i had my trusty travel cup. happiness!

so much emotion over coffee...sad, isn't it?
