re: where the wild things are

ahhhh...this almost feels better than the first episode of the season.

superficial things first:

i almost forgot how good derek's hair is - especially after the previews of his new movie where it appears his hair is planning on invasion on his face...the follicles are currently stationed on the lower forehead and are aggressively planning an attack southward. but on grey's the troops are under control. most importantly, his goopy eyes were in full force and are so lovely. rose is a lucky girl. for now...

i was so happy to see meredith in therapy. are these the first steps to their eternal happiness?? if i were meredith though, i would probably have picked a therapist who didn't work at the hospital. i suppose it's out of convenience...but still. and why is her doctor's chin so wrinkly?

the parallel between derek/rose relationshop and tumour man/trashy waitress (thanks for the monikers, hayley) relationship made me wonder at first...is this derek and rose's fate? to get married about live happily ever after? but of course things aren't as they appear. the other foot did come down on trashy waitress' life and we aren't sure if she was a symptom of the tumour or not. i don't think she was but that doesn't mean that rose isn't a symptom of something wrong with derek right now. does that make sense? oh well, i know what i mean by that.

i don't like how callie was treating cristina...just because she made a new friend doesn't mean she has to treat cristina like a piece of dirt on the bottom of her shoe, especially because she's living with her! ugh.

who was paging meredith on her blingy beeper at the end? and yay for addison coming back! happiness all around...
