re: all by myself

ok...this is getting a bit hokey. i don't really know what i expected when denny stuck around last episode, but having him there, always, seems a bit much. izzie MUST be on her way out, and fast. i can't handle having him there all the time, for the rest of the season. it's just not right! and poor poor alex. he is totally going to be crushed when izzie chooses denny in the end. because we all know that will happen.

alex's profession of love? almost the sweetest thing ever. and, for the record, the sweetest thing ever = "pick me. choose me. love me." pffft, as if you even had to ask.

callie and sadie? first of all, it sounds like i'm talking about two of my friends' puppies. they are both dog names. no, i'm not trying to call them female dogs (tee hee! bitches!), it's just how i feel. and while this pairing is more believable than the torres-hahn combination - i even admittedly had a girl crush on sadie - it feels like they're jumping the shark with this lesbian storyline. i feel like all lesbian storylines on any tv show end up jumping the shark - whys that? (snicker!) some kind of unfair double standard, i guess. like, when jack went gay on dawson's creek, it was believeable and he stayed gay. but marissa cooper on the o.c.? she was gay for like 2 seconds! it was all about the gratuitous kiss! that's the only example i think of right now, but i am certain there are more out there.

little grey and little sloan, together at last! so cute. and hot. hubba hubba!

who knew cristina would pick alex? this girl, right here! the minute he rattled off how he would do the surgery, i knew she would. because she's logical like that. meredith really is kind of a dum-dum if she thought cristina didn't choose her because she was mad. mer's a little self-absorbed...i used to think it was because she was distraught over not being with derek, but no. it's her.

dr. dixon's bedside manner makes cristina look like IZZIE. she can't actually be staying on the show. and i wonder how people with asperger's (or those close to those with asperger's) feel about her performance. too overdone? maybe.

and and and! meredith's line at the end, when they're betting on whether alex will choke? "that's one of us down there"? she said the same thing about george in season 1 when he was chosen to scrub in with burke as his "guy". oh, how it all comes full circle...if only it were alex who bet against george on that fateful day. it totally would have been too, had alex been part of the cast for the first episode. yes, i'm sad for knowing that...and that's my cue to go to bed. the end.
