the elusive puffy shirt

no, i'm not talking about the infamous puffy shirt from seinfeld...just puffy sleeves, no excessive frills or embellishments.

i finally found it! i've found a several candidates in my search, but there was always something wrong. too big, wrong colour, too loud in pattern, parachute material, indecorous bows, etc. most importantly, i hadn't yet found a contender with the appropriate amount of puff - not too much to echo 80s taffeta dresses, but enough so that it doesn't sag...in a nutshell, months of searching and to no avail.

but i've found it. in a store that i don't usually even browse, this store had zillions of puffy shirts! i may go to back to buy one more, because my new friend is so cute and was dirt cheap. i shall name her lafayette.

for those of you keeping track, this means that i have scored two items from my wish list - i also bought black pumps for new year's eve. they are very difficult to walk in but very fun! just need to find the black pashmina, which i almost got for $20 but alas, no black. my work here is almost done - then i will create a new wish list and start all over again!
