re: the other side of this life

this episode had some really, truly funny moments in it.

like the look cristina gave callie when she was silently begging her to be a bridesmaid. or the use of the term "fart logic," which i'm confident will creep into my vocabulary. or watching addison try to be the hot chick in the hot car with the wind blowing in her hair, but failing miserably.

one question...why did they make susan die? i don't get that. i'm guessing she didn't want to come back next season, that's the only reason i can think of. she was supposed to be meredith's mother figure. and now she's dead. that's two dead mothers for meredith...poor meredith. i keep saying that. i really wish they would make me stop saying that. and why do they want to rip mer and der apart? whyyyy?!

and addison's new show? okay. taye diggs? with PIZ, who always looked cute but never really HOT until he showed up half-naked with a surf board? he was so geeky and cute on veronica mars, but now he's hubba hubba! he alone makes it worth it to watch. i was surprised to see kellerman from prison break on it too. i think i will have to add this show to my list of shows for next year, but i don't NEED anymore shows to watch! sigh. i really liked it, which i guess is the point.

overall, this episode rated a "meh," mostly because i was enjoying the LA scenes more than what was going on at seattle grace. next week promises to be better though: DON'T LET THAT RANDOM GIRL BUY YOU A DRINK, DEREK! DON'T DOOO ITTTT!
