social butterfly

this weekend was packed with two birthday parties in two different cities.

we went to kenji and shelley's new house for reiko's 5th birthday party (sorry we didn't make it to see you, jen! i promise we'll visit soon!). we admired the peaceful neighbourhood and beautiful house. we visited with the gracious hosts, kids and other family/friends briefly before jetting it back to toronto.

we made it back to the city in less than 2 hours, in time for birthday party #2. the birthday boy and his wife planned to stay at our place overnight, so they brought their dog, much to scout's chagrin. charlee, the 60+ pound portugese water dog was very excited to see scout again, but scout spent most of the time in the closet or under the bed, doing her best impression of a squirrel with a bushy tail.
