who wears the pants...?

we started going to a new dry cleaner. this dry cleaner does free pick-up and delivery, at no extra charge! they are a little more expensive than the place we used to go to, but worth it if i don't actually have to leave my house to get clothes cleaned (yes...lazy).

i get about 3 pairs of pants dry cleaned regularly. usually as i wear them, they stretch out a bit; that's how i know they need to be cleaned again, when they appear to be too big for me. when i took them to the old dry cleaners, i would get them back and they would go back to the original size and fit great. i got these pants cleaned by the new guys, and they didn't shrink back to the original size; they felt even bigger than before! i have to wear a belt all the time now, otherwise i end up doing a great impression of a teenage boy with a saggy butt and underpants higher than my pant's waistline. how's that for a mental picture? i haven't lost weight, so the only explanation? i think the dry cleaner is trying on, or even wearing my pants and stretching them. just like that seinfeld episode! newman!
