re: rise up

okay, where to start...

sloan is really impressing me this season. i haven't ever been a huge fan, and think of him more as comic relief and moderate eye candy. i find him greasy-looking - i think it's the chin strap? - but i know there are some the loooove him (dani!) so maybe it's just me. i loved his double-entendres today, which weren't even really double-entendre-y, he was just saying normal things with a slightly raised eyebrow. "can you...pass the...ketchup...hmm?" i think i'll try that tomorrow to see what kind of reactions i can get.

i'm a little sad about hahn leaving - not that i liked her...her voice was very grating and she was just plain nasty to everyone except callie...but she is/was the only female attending, and it would be nice if she could have stayed. if only for that reason.

i LOVED george's reaction when he realized he was being watched. and cristina's reaction when she realized sloan was hitting on her. and izzie's reaction when meredith said she saw dead denny. "today?" so good.

yay for denny's "return"! i always wondered how izzie was able to just move on, so it's kind of reassuring to see that she hasn't fully. and denny can smile with his eyes like nobody's business! take that, tyra. i love that he didn't say anything until the very very end. sigh.

the older couple - they were so sweet. i also wondered how they were able to just say good bye and then hello when she wakes up...clearly it's not as easy as it seems. so touching at the end. why couldn't they just undo the DNR?! the husband clearly didn't know what he was getting himself into!

and finally...i have HEARD that derek spilled big beans (and i mean secrets, not actual beans) by accident, but i don't know the details other than hahn leaving. so please don't ruin the surprise for me. or i'll kill you. thanks. :)
