scout-ing report #2

i noticed that whenever kris goes away and leaves me home alone, scout will be significantly more affectionate...she'll sit beside me on the couch instead of lounging on one of the stair steps (yes - close to the b-word). at night, she'll sleep cuddled up beside me rather than laying at my feet.

well, kris has been back for over a week, and scout is still extra snuggly! she may not lie on the couch, but that could be because there's no room - she sleeps on the nearby chair instead. and at night, she is still curls up right beside me and stays there all night long.

maybe it's because i kept telling her about melissa's cats who are so sweet and nice and she's trying to compete. always a motive, isn't there?
