my new dentist allows me to watch friends reruns while my teeth are being cleaned. while this is fun, it has it's down-sides...when i want to laugh, i can't really since my mouth is open with instruments inside, so i end up stifling the laughter and looking kind of strange while doing so. also, the hygenist appears to be watching too and not always giving the utmost attention to cleaning my teeth - but who could blame her?
this dentist is much better than my previous mouth doctor, who was slimey, smelly and overly sensitive/borderline unprofessional with old equipment and no free parking. my new dentist does not give me the creeps (i think it's because he doesn't have a greasy ponytail and receding hairline), he has no apparent smell, seems professional, has a new clinic so the equipment is brand spanking new, loads of free parking AND has a really nice receptionist who always compliments me when i see her - granted, it's only been two visits but we're two for two! i think this is the beginning of a very good dentist-ship.
