drinky drinky

we went to the food and wine show last night. we didn't get there until around 8pm. we were greeted with a lady who said that they weren't selling anymore tickets because the place was at capacity...this was annoying since we had just spent $15 on parking...gotta love toronto...but people were lined up at the ticket window, and after some investigation, it turns out they just started selling tickets again. the lady kept telling everyone to go home though, i guess she didn't get the memo.

it was fun, and gave us a chance to try wines that we wouldn't normally consider because of the price tag. we also found some great reds with a normal price tag, which is exciting. i also tried a really nice lychee sake. the only problem is that it's only available to licensees, but we went with a friend who works at a conference centre, so he's going to buy a case and let us buy bottles through him. yummy.
