re: my predictions

going back to my predictions from the season premiere:

1. i think cristina will shed her negative-nancy view on life. the icicle impaled her on the very same spot that burke was almost killed; burke continues to haunt her in the background of her life, what with him leaving her at the altar, and going on to win prestigious awards without her. cue owen, crazy army guy whose voice sounds a lot like sloan's. maybe she'll move on and learn how to be happy.

hmm. not yet. but soon. soon, this will happen.


2. of course, derek will propose to meredith. maybe in the season finale? swoon! happily ever after! HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

duh, YEAH. this is totally going to happen. HAE! HAE!!!!


3. alex and izzie will hook up again. and the girl that alex was making out with in his room? was that ROSE?!?!? it couldn't be...but it was her hair...maybe they ran out of money to pay more actors, so they just asked rose to pretend to be alex's hussy.

ok, so i wasn't right about alex making out with rose, but i definitely was right about them hooking up again. hussy is funny word. sometimes i make myself laugh.


4. george and lexie will also hook up, but they will realize they're better as friends (poor george, that always seems to happen to him), and lexie and SLOAN will start dating. i'm not sure how i feel about that.

i think they decided to cut out the george/lexie romance once they realized he wanted out of the show. i firmly stand by my original forecast that they were going to hook up. but i guess we'll never know for sure.


5. erica and callie...i guess they'll live happily ever after too. i kind of wanted hahn to be written off the show, especially since she's a bad teacher anyway, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

APPARENTLY I CAN MAKE THINGS COME TRUE. i wish i had x-ray vision. i wish i had x-ray vision. i wish i had x-ray vision!!!!


6. the chief will have to come to terms with the fact that he's harbouring resentment towards meredith for being ellis' daughter.

hmm. i suppose the tension between him and mer have dissipated. can't remember how though.


7. bailey will realize that her estranged husband is now a professional assassin in prison break who stalks and kills innocent people and will move on.

done and done. maybe this is why she's been cranky lately. i really should quit my day job.
