simple pleasures

i was at the beer store today and i got carded! happiness! and THEN when i was walking away, the cashier guy (are they still called cashiers when it's at the beer store?) said, "have a nice night, miss"

i should have him talk to the starbucks guy who always calls me ma'am - who, incidentally, i haven't seen in a long time. maybe he accidentally took an accelerating-aging pill and has since retired. ha, karma!
